The initial visit is an assessment. First, we will take care of necessary paperwork and discuss my practice policies. Next, we will ask you questions and take notes in order to document a clear picture of your background, mental health history, medical history, and the current problem that you are experiencing. We will go over our assessment with you, and at that time we will discuss if you would like to move forward with treatment.
