Kari Moyer, M.A.

Kari earned her master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Sociology from Providence College.
Kari has experience working in both the outpatient and inpatient setting, most recently at Hartgrove Behavioral Hospital. She also has worked in private practice. Kari has had the opportunity to work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Kari sees clients who struggle with complex trauma and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), addictions, self-esteem, anxiety and depression, relationship issues, and life transitions in and out of the LGBTQI+ community.
Kari’s therapy style is holistic in nature as she is passionate about treating the whole person by focusing beyond the individual’s mental aspects. She emphasizes building a sense of trust and safety with her clients to ensure their comfort while aiding them in processing past and present experiences. She is passionate in aiding individuals in their recovery process while offering a warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental space.
